Storytelling in the business context
Storytelling for leaders
Once upon a time, leaders became those who could hunt the best, who were the loudest and most violent ones when it came to getting rid of enemies or those who knew what the best direction was to take next. That style of leadership is slowly coming to an end. The leaders of the future will be those who can touch others’ emotions and inspire them to be their best.
One reason is the increasingly complex and demanding nature of our work environments, another one the fact that more and more leaders don’t have the hierarchical power to simply command and expect results.
Storytelling, the effective use of using good and adequate stories is getting more and more important.
Storytelling in Sales
An increasing number of products and services nowadays tends to be so complex that salespeople who try to explain every detail easily overwhelm most potential customers.
Storytelling bridges the gap between what you offer and how your client will experience it. With the right stories, used with maximum impact, you create images in your customer's mind, make them feel the attractiveness of your offer and move them to take action.
In my trainings and coachings we identify, work on and develop the best approach to the stories that every salesperson should master:
If your income depends on sales and you have noticed already that by using good stories you are more successful while making your life easier, contact me to talk about it.
The 3-Story Method
Then the 3-Story Method is for you. In a coaching process over the course of several weeks, we look at what your story is, what story your organisation is experiencing and how you can be a mentor, supporter and the best leader possible in your team's experienced story.
Contact me for more information and to arrange a prior conversation about your situation and any questions. I am looking forward to it.
Actively engaging trainings and coachings that enable your experiences
It is central to all my trainings and coachings that all approaches and methods can be immediately put into practice and experienced first-hand. I use reality-like situations, intensive small group work and a very dynamic style of facilitation in order to bring different aspects of the participants' work environment into the workshop.
Trainings in English for Speakers of Other Languages
I offer trainings in English, German (my native language) and Spanish. When conducting trainings in English for speakers of other languages I offer the possibility to improve situation-specific and goal-oriented language skills. Speaking a foreign language also means knowing which context to use it in which kind of way in.
In order to deepen the training content even more, different follow-up steps can be arranged:
- On-the-job intensive coaching.
- Teaming up with other participants after the workshop, tackling specific tasks or scheduled goal orientation conversations with superiors.
- Webinars or daily inspiration and challenges via email.
